The exceedingly scarce separate edition of the Latin text of the first volume of Theodor Holmskiold's 'Beata Ruris Otia Fungis Danicis' (Copenhagen, 1790).

As the first edition of 'Beata Ruris Otia Fungis Danicis', arguably the most splendid book ever printed in Denmark, was only printed in a small number of copies, the prominent Swedish mycologist Christiaan Hendrik Persoon (1761-1836) organised for this annotated reissue of the Latin text of the first volume to be published.

The present copy belonged to the renowned Danish book collector Eiler Høeg, with his exlibris pasted to inside of front board.
