12mo. In contemporary full vellum with title in contemporary hand to spine. Stains and soiling to extremities. Ex-libris (Juel to Valdemar's Castle) pasted on to pasted down front end-paper. Inner hinges split. Last blank leaf with the following inscription: "Ce livre appartient / à Mademoiselle / Berthe Catherine / Juel 1784 / reçu de Mademoiselle / L. B. Kramer / un souvenir d'elle / quand elle partit écrire / le même soir et en / même temps je". (i.e. "This book belongs / to Miss / Berthe Catherine / Juel, 1784 / received from Miss / L. B. Kramer / a keepsake from her / when she left to write / the same evening and at / the same time I").
