8vo. In a contemporary Cambridge-style mirror binding with four raised bands and richly gilt spine. With traces from clasps. Small paper-label pasted on to top of spine. Wear to extremities, with loss of leather to back board due to missing clasps. Previous owner's name in contemporary hand to front free end-paper. Internally nice and clean. (8), 1112, (32), 196 pp.

Rare later (fourth?) edition of German hymnal that contains a collection of both traditional and contemporary hymns.
