An interesting sammelband containing two works both addressing theological controversies within Protestant Christianity, specifically the conflict between Calvinist and Arminian doctrines. They critique Arminianism and defend orthodox Reformed theology (Calvinism). ”Consideratio Arminianismi” is a direct critique of Arminian theology, analyzing and refuting its doctrines. “Specimen Controversiarum Belgicarum” reinforces the Reformed position by outlining the confessions and beliefs of the Reformed Churches in the Netherlands which stood firmly against Arminianism.
