Uncommon first German translation and compilation of reports from the meetings of the Jacobins, one of the most radical and influential political groups during the French Revolution. Focusing on daily proceedings during a pivotal period (1791/92) it was one of the few reliable German-language sources on the Revolution at the time providing contemporaries with a first-hand look at the revolutionary events. The book was prepared and annotated by Johann Wilhelm von Archenholz, a German historian.
