Johann Heinrich Hottinger (1620 - 1667), a theologian from Zurich, Hottinger began his studies at a young age and traveled through France, England, and Holland where he gained extensive knowledge in languages and theology. After his travels he became a professor in Zurich and published several significant works on the bible.
