Uncommon first edition of one of the botanical dissertations issued under the presidency of Linnaeus at Uppsala. Presented by Johannes Strand on 10 March 1756 the work deals the flora of the Holy Land and represents Linne's continuing efforts to extend his system of classification to the plants of biblical Palestine.
