First edition of the so-called "Le Petit marot". There seems not to be any standard collation of the work as copies in libraries varies a lot in relation to the number of plates. (Lewine's Bibliography lists engr. title and 106 (sometimes 111) plates).
"Little has survived of his own architectural work, but his engravings of the works of others, primarily those published in the volumes referred to as the Petit Marot (c. 1654) and the Grand Marot (c. 1670), were highly esteemed by his contemporaries and remain among the most important sources concerning architecture in France up to the early part of the reign of Louis XIV.
