First French translation of Ulfeldt's account of Dina Vinhofer who accused Corfitz Ulfeldt and Leonora Christine of plotting to poison King Frederik III in 1650. Ulfeldt was acquitted, Vinhofer sentenced to death. Later, Ulfeldt was charged with misconduct and fled Denmark in 1651. The case reflects the fierce court intrigues during Frederik III’s rise to power.

The Danish original "Høytrengende aeris forsuar", from 1651-52 was published in Hamburg in 1652.
