4to. In contemporary full calf. Binding with a few stains and scratches. Boards bended. Ex-libris pasted on to verso of front board. With authors presentation inscription to his brother: "Fratri reverendo et eruditissimo, Dno Bonichio suo / mittit / autor.  MDCCXLVI." (The author sends this to his brother, the Reverend and most learned Mr. Bonichius. 1726.). First leaves with small worm-tracts in inner lower margin, not affecting text. Otherwise internally fine and clean.  (8), 398, (16) pp. Wanting the three plates as always.

Presentation-copy of the first edition of Anchersen's important work in which he has collected and reworked all the knowledge available in his time about the Lejre and the cult site Hertadalen.
