First edition of this landmark work of modern photography and New Typography, edited by the art historian Franz Roh with typography and design by Jan Tschichold. Foto-Auge is widely regarded as being one of the defining photobooks of the interwar avant-garde being a fine testament to the visual language of “Neue Sachlichkeit” and the international modernist photographic movement.
