Later edition of these literary and philological works. 

Roland Desmarests (1594-1653), a brother of the better-known Jean Desmarests de Saint-Sorlin, placed a Latin poem dedicated to the French princess Marie Louise Gonzaga de Nevers in this present work. The princess (who was the future wife of two Polish kings, Wladyslaw IV Vasa and John II Casimir) was about to leave France for Poland.
