First German edition of this early work on horsemanship. 

The first part addresses horse-related knowledge, encompassing aspects such as anatomy, defects, age determination, color variations, diverse breeds, purchasing considerations, as well as details on bridles, saddles, shoeing, feeding, and general management.

The subsequent section is dedicated to the art of horse-riding, covering topics like attire, equipment, galloping, military horse usage, coaching horses, ladies' driving, as well as insights into Dutch and English races and courses.
The third section delves into horse health, examining both internal and external diseases. It includes discussions on colics, diarrhea, worms, pulmonary and urinary ailments, dislocations, fractures, wounds, accidents, and concludes with an elaborate chapter offering comprehensive guidance on horse-breeding.
