4to. In contemporary full calf with four raised bands with gilt lettering and ornamentation to spine. Small paper label to upper compartment on spine. Light wear to extremities, most of the gilting worn off. Ex-libris (Carl Juel, Danish statesman and owner of Valdemar's Castle) to verso of front board. With occassional underlinings in contemporary hand throughout. A good copy. (22), 580, 48, (62) pp. 

First edition, published posthumously, of Boeclerus’ main work on Swedish history.
The second part contains, with a seperate title page, the peace treaty between Kristina and Christian IV in 1645: the Peace of Brömsebrofreden.
