8vo. Uncut in the original gift cardboard binding covered in green glazed paper. Tears and loss of paper to spine. Book block split in two. Printed on good paper, internally clean. Inscribed by Rask to inside of front board: "Højvelbårne Hr. Etatsråd / Notarius Publicus Olsen / ærbødigst / fra / Forfatteren". The inscription is later crossed out, presumably by Rask. 22,226 pp.

Beautiful presentation copy of the first edition of Rask's Spanish grammar, presumably inscribed to Gottsche Hans Olsen (1760-1829) although he probably never received the copy.
