First English edition of "The first monumental work about eskimo's fairy tales and legends", translated from the authors "Eskimoiske Eventyr og Sagn 1-1. Copenhagen, 1866-71". The fine woodcuts by the native artists are taken from the original blocks as used in the Danish edition.
