First German edition of Moivre's famous work "Evaluation of Annuities on Lives" (first published 1723), but this translation is from the most elaborate version of "Annuities" which appeared together with the third edition of the authors "The Doctine of Changes" from 1756. The work is considered as the foundation of life-insurance mathematics.
