First edition of president Monroes inspection-journey. (Sabin 50023).
Very scarce first edition of Birkbeck's travels as "One of the most interesting and instructive books that have appeared for many years."(Sabin No 5569). The later editions having a map, not the first, and the many later contemporary editions were printed outside The United States.
