Here testabillity became the main thesis of logical empiricism, accompanied by the principles of induction and simplicity together with the analyticity of the formal sciences. Kaila sent the book to Carnap who replied: "I have read it with liveyl interest and also with complete agreement in the essential point. Diverging opinions in detals, of course, are inevitable."
