The rare first printing of the sixth volume of Peter Foersom's and P.F. Wulf's translation of Shakespeare's tragic works. This volume contains the first danish translation of Richard III.

The present translation of Shakespeare's works is considered the most important in Danish literature and became the standard version of the works.

The copy belonged to the Danish literary historian Mogens Brøndsted and the renowned zoologist J. Reinhardt.
